5 Fresh Bathrooms For August
DESIGNED BY FORMAFATAL
We love the combination of the graphic floor and wall pattern and the bold wooden vanity with its brass sink bowl. This bathroom has great attention to detail with the small circular tiling referenced by the grand round mirror.
DESIGNED BY ZROBIM ARCHITECTS
The natural light provided by the sloping skylight creates a soothing atmosphere for relaxing candlelit baths. Zrobim Architects has cleverly used boldly contrasting colours and materials to make clear distinctions between the main elements of the room.
Going vintage can be hard to do if you’re new to the styles from the past, as the shear amount of options can become overwhelming. This bathroom starts by introducing interesting material choices with its copper tub & sink and dark green tiles. Unfortunately it begins to veer off from wondrous when we compare the underwhelming treatment of the floor to everything else – we feel a simple white tiling and solid color floor mat would pull the entire room together much more effectively.
DESIGNED BY DALEET SPECTOR DESIGN
Daleet Spector Design has made rustic feel refined with their cast concrete sink bowls and horizontally slatted white paneling, reminiscent of the wide weathered boards found on old rural buildings.
DESIGNED BY STUDIO LOKO
Just because you have a small bathroom doesn’t mean you can’t have a stylish one! This tiny treasure wraps natural wood paneling from floor to ceiling (with built-in framed shelves) in the main walking area and balances the other two opposing walls with clean white coverings. The right amount of accented cool blue is splashed around the room which nicely plays off of the warm wooden color tones.
